Dhaka, March 7, 2024 – IQAC-BUBT proudly organized the esteemed “Certificate and Award Giving Ceremony 2024” at the International Conference Hall. The event, held on March 6th, 2024, at 05:00 PM, marked an evening of acknowledgment, jubilation, and scholarly distinction.

Mafruha Hossain, Assistant Professor of the Management Department, and Mr. Zaved Mannan, Additional Director of IQAC-BUBT, jointly anchored the program, ensuring its smooth execution.

The ceremony featured a distinguished array of speakers who illuminated the achievements and contributions across diverse fields. Prof. Santi Narayan Ghosh, Director of the BUBT Research and Innovation Center (BRIC), initiated the proceedings with a warm welcome speech.

Md. Rejaul Karim, Assistant Professor in the Economics Department, representing the ITPARM (participant of the 5th ITPARM), delivered the ITPARM Participant’s speech, while Prof. Dr. Md. Anwar Hossain, Chairman of the Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) Department, shared insights as a recipient of the Publication Award.

The presence of esteemed special guests, including Md. Shamsul Huda, FCA, Chairman of BUBT-Trust, and Prof. Dr. Mustafizur Rahman, Distinguished Fellow at the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD), added to the event’s grandeur. Prof. Dr. Shafique Ahmed Siddique, Member of BUBT-Trust, graced the occasion as the Guest of Honor.

The evening’s highlight was the esteemed presence of Prof. Dr. Md. Alamgir, Chairman (Additional Charge) & Member of the University Grants Commission (UGC), serving as the Chief Guest. His address resonated with the audience, acknowledging academic excellence and urging further strides in research and innovation.

The ceremony also included the distribution of certificates to ITPARM participants (2nd to 5th), along with cash awards and certificates for exceptional researchers.

Prof. Dr. Muhammed Fayyaz Khan, Vice Chancellor of BUBT, served as the Session Chair, emphasizing the university’s dedication to nurturing a culture of academic distinction.

The event culminated with a note of appreciation, as Zaved Mannan, Additional Director of IQAC, delivered a heartfelt Vote of Thanks.
