IQAC-BUBT’s Orientation Program Equips New Documentation Assistants and IQAC Manager for Accreditation Success

Bangladesh University of Business and Technology’s (BUBT) Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) conducted a comprehensive orientation program for the recently recruited Documentation Assistants and IQAC Manager, Mr. Bashar Ahmed. The program, held under the auspices of IQAC-BUBT, aimed to prepare the new team members to play a pivotal role in advancing the university’s accreditation efforts.

Chaired by the Director of IQAC, Prof. Santi Narayan Ghosh, the orientation program witnessed the gracious presence of esteemed dignitaries, including Prof. Dr. Md. Fayyaz Khan, Vice Chancellor of BUBT, Prof. Dr. Ali Ahmed, Pro-Vice Chancellor of BUBT, Prof. Dr. Ali Ahmed, Treasurer of BUBT, and Dr. Harun-Or-Rashid, Registrar of BUBT. Heads of Program Self-Assessment Committees (PSACs) from all seven departments were also in attendance, underlining the collective commitment to quality enhancement.

Mr. Zaved Mannan, Additional Director of IQAC, deftly facilitated the program, acquainting the Documentation Assistants and IQAC Manager with the intricacies of the accreditation process in Bangladesh. The distinguished speakers, including the Vice Chancellor, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Registrar, and IQAC Director, delivered insightful speeches, setting the tone for the program.

Prof. Dr. Fayyaz Khan, in his address, shared valuable suggestions with the new team members, emphasizing the significance of their roles in achieving accreditation goals. He expressed the university’s aspiration to become the first accredited institution in Bangladesh and urged all PSAC heads to contribute zealously to expedite the accreditation progress.

The Pro-Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Ali Noor, provided invaluable guidelines on documentation practices, essential for maintaining accurate records and data integrity. Dr. Harun-Or-Rashid, Registrar of BUBT, extended his expert advice on the overall accreditation process, underlining the importance of meticulous documentation and data collection.

Prof. Santi Narayan Ghosh, Director of IQAC, expressed his gratitude to all participants and highlighted the collective responsibility of accelerating the accreditation process to ensure BUBT’s continued commitment to excellence in education.
