The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT), in collaboration with the Program Self-Assessment Committee (PSAC) of the LL.B. (Honours) Program, organized an Accreditation (BAC) Preparation Meeting on Wednesday, 03 June 2026, at Meeting Room 220, Shahid Sujan Mahmud Building, BUBT.

The meeting was attended by Professor Dr. Syed Sarfaraj Hamid, Dean, Faculty of Law; Professor Dr. K. Ahmed Alam, Director, IQAC-BUBT; Dr. Md. Asadur Rahman, Additional Director, IQAC-BUBT; Ariful Islam, Chairman (Acting), Department of Law and Justice; and members of the PSAC of the LL.B. (Honours) Program.

The meeting focused on reviewing the proposed schedule for the upcoming Bangladesh Accreditation Council (BAC) accreditation activities and examining the proposed budget required for the successful completion of the accreditation process. Participants discussed various operational, logistical, and administrative issues related to the preparation for the BAC audit.

During the discussion, the importance of systematic planning, effective coordination, proper documentation, and timely completion of accreditation-related tasks was emphasized. The participants reviewed the proposed audit schedule and discussed budgetary matters, including logistics, hospitality, transportation, and other necessary arrangements for the accreditation activities.

The meeting concluded with a shared commitment from IQAC and the Department of Law and Justice to work collaboratively to ensure successful preparation for the BAC accreditation of the LL.B. (Honours) Program. The participants expressed confidence that, through coordinated efforts and careful planning, the program would be well-prepared for the accreditation process.
