Dhaka, 20 May 2026: IQAC-BUBT organized an important preparation meeting on Wednesday, 20 May 2026, to review the university’s readiness for the upcoming External Academic Audit of the LL.B. (Honours) Program by the Bangladesh Accreditation Council (BAC).

The meeting was held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Meeting Room 220, Shahid Sujan Mahmud Building, BUBT. The session was graced by the presence of Prof. Dr. A B M Shawkat Ali, Honorable Vice Chancellor of BUBT, who provided valuable guidance and emphasized the importance of maintaining the highest standards of academic quality and institutional excellence.

Among others present were Professor Dr. Syed Sarfaraj Hamid, Dean of the Faculty of Law; Professor Dr. K Ahmed Alam, Director of IQAC; Md. Asadur Rahman, Additional Director of IQAC; Ariful Islam; Dr. Md. Milan Hossain; Mr. Khaledur Rahman; and Tanzima Akter Sumi.

The meeting discussed several important agenda items, including the formation of committees and sub-committees for conducting the External Academic Audit Team visit, preparation of the document room, review of BAC’s 10 standards and evidence requirements, development of a three-day audit visit schedule, and assignment of responsibilities among key university offices such as the Registrar, Treasurer, Controller of Examinations, Library,
