A meeting of the Program Self-Assessment Committees (PSACs) took place at BUBT on September 17, 2023, with esteemed attendees, including Prof. Dr. Muhammed Fayyaz Khan, Vice Chancellor, Prof. Santi Narayan Ghosh, Director of IQAC, Dean of various faculties, Chairmen of various departments and Members of all Program Self-Assessment Committee (PSACs) and Zaved Mannan, Additional Director of IQAC.

Prof. Santi Narayan Ghosh, Director of IQAC, presided the meeting and initiated discussions focusing on course outlines and course files, emphasizing the allocation of 25% of courses to GED courses in line with UGC guidelines. The meeting underscored the significance of comprehensive course files that incorporate student assignments, reading materials, and material availability. Prof. Dr. Md. Fayyaz Khan suggested establishing a committee to create templates for course outlines and course materials, while Prof. Dr. Ali Ahmed advised annual updates of lecture/course notes.

Efficiency in documentation processes was also a key theme. Zaved Mannan, Additional Director of IQAC, introduced an indexing template to streamline documentation. The meeting concluded with a reminder for PSAC heads to submit monthly reports by the 24th of each month, with only a few complying.

The meeting concluded with a strong commitment to improving documentation standards and enhancing the overall quality of education at BUBT.
