Day 3: Training on Key Academic Practices 2026

Date: Saturday, 09 May 2026 | Venue: International Conference Hall, BUBT, Dhaka

The final day featured an intensive workshop by a distinguished external expert, followed by a formal closing ceremony attended by university leadership. The day was dedicated entirely to Outcome Based Education (OBE) implementation — from curriculum design to course file preparation.

  1. Session-01: Outcome Based Education (OBE) and OBE Curriculum

    Learning objectives, learning outcomes, and Program Educational Objectives (PEOs) were differentiated with national and international examples.
  2. Session-02: Instructional Methods / Teaching Strategies
    Resource Person: Professor Farheen Hassan, PhD, SFHEA
    Active learning, flipped classroom, and case-based approaches suitable for OBE were demonstrated.
  3. Session-03: Test Paper Preparation, Assessment Strategies and Rubrics Development
    Resource Person: Professor Farheen Hassan, PhD, SFHEA
    Participants practiced writing outcome-aligned questions and developing analytical rubrics.
  4. Session-04: Course File Preparation
    Resource Person: Professor Farheen Hassan, PhD, SFHEA
    A complete checklist for course files, including syllabus, lesson plan, assessment samples, and attainment reports, was provided.
