
The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) organized an Accreditation (BAC) Action Plan Presentation Session on Wednesday, 10 June 2026, at Meeting Room 220 of the Shahid Sujan Mahmud Building, BUBT.
The session was conducted under the leadership of Professor Dr. K. Ahmed Alam, Director, IQAC-BUBT, and Dr. Md. Asadur Rahman, Additional Director, IQAC-BUBT. Members of the Program Self-Assessment Committees (PSACs) from various academic programs of the university participated in the session and presented their respective Accreditation Action Plans.
The primary objective of the session was to review the preparedness of the academic programs for accreditation by the Bangladesh Accreditation Council (BAC). During the presentations, the PSACs highlighted their ongoing accreditation activities, progress achieved, pending tasks, implementation strategies, and proposed timelines for completion.
The Director of IQAC emphasized the importance of systematic planning, evidence-based documentation, continuous monitoring, and effective coordination among all stakeholders to ensure successful accreditation outcomes. He noted that accreditation is a significant milestone in strengthening academic quality, institutional accountability, and international recognition.
The Additional Director of IQAC reviewed the presented action plans and provided constructive feedback and recommendations to facilitate timely completion of accreditation-related activities. He also stressed the need for maintaining realistic timelines and ensuring compliance with BAC requirements and standards.
The session provided an important platform for sharing progress, identifying challenges, and strengthening collaboration between IQAC and the PSACs. The participants reaffirmed their commitment to achieving accreditation goals and further enhancing the quality of education, governance, and academic excellence at BUBT.
The presentation session concluded with a renewed commitment from all participating departments to work closely with IQAC in implementing their action plans and ensuring readiness for future BAC accreditation activities.
