The third meeting of the QS Ranking Committee of Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) was held on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.

The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al Mansur, Professor and Chairman of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), and Convenor of the QS Ranking Committee.

Prof. Dr. A B M Shawkat Ali, Honorable Vice-Chancellor of BUBT, attended the meeting and provided valuable guidance on enhancing the university’s performance in global ranking indicators.

Other attendees included Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mahboob Ali (Dept. of Economics), Dr. Muhammad Aminur Rahaman (CSE), Mr. Zaved Mannan (Additional Director, IQAC-BUBT and Member-Secretary), Mafruha Hossain (Management), Mst. Amina Khatun (Economics), Dr. Waziha Farha and Eshita Datta (Textile), Sudipto Chaki and Md. Masudul Islam (CSE), Md. Sabbir Ahmed (English), Dr. Md. Shamsul Arefin, Ruhul Amin, and Chitra Roy (EEE), Ms. Zeenat Zoarder Ripa (Deputy Registrar, Public Relations), and Dr. Syed Ashraful Haque (Assistant PRO).

The committee discussed key progress updates, reviewed ongoing data submission tasks, and finalized strategic steps to strengthen BUBT’s performance in the upcoming QS World University Rankings cycle.
