BUBT Organized a Seminar on BNQF and GED Courses

On Thursday, 11 September 2025, the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) successfully organized a seminar titled “Implementation of Bangladesh National Qualification Framework (BNQF) and General Education (GED) Courses” at the International Conference Hall, BUBT.

The seminar began with the Opening Speech delivered by Prof. Dr. Syed Masud Husain, Dean, Faculty of Business & Social Sciences, BUBT. He welcomed the guests and participants and highlighted the importance of adopting the BNQF and GED courses to strengthen academic quality and equip students with broader skills for future challenges.

The Keynote Address on BNQF and GED courses was presented by Mohammad Tazib Uddin, Director (Quality Assurance & BNQF), Bangladesh Accreditation Council, who highlighted the significance of the framework in aligning higher education with global standards and strengthening the general education foundation of students.

The session was presided over by Prof. Santi Narayan Ghosh, Director, IQAC, BUBT, who addressed the participants and emphasized the role of IQAC in ensuring academic quality and effective implementation of BNQF and GED courses at the university level.

The seminar concluded with the Vote of Thanks and Closing Remarks delivered by Zaved Mannan, Additional Director, IQAC-BUBT, expressing gratitude to the distinguished guest, speakers, faculty members, and participants for their active engagement.
