Daffodil International University Showcases Cutting-Edge OBE Tracking Software at BUBT

Dhaka, Bangladesh – July 15, 2024 – Daffodil International University (DIU) has unveiled its state-of-the-art Outcome-Based Education (OBE) Tracking software, designed to meet the rigorous standards set by the Bangladesh Accreditation Council (BAC) and the Board of Accreditation for Engineering and Technical Education (BAETE). This presentation, following those by MasterSys and the Indian firm IONCUDOS, offers Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) an additional option as it assesses the most appropriate OBE software solution.

The software demonstration took place on July 15, 2024, at 3:00 PM in Meeting Room 220, Building 2, at BUBT. The session highlighted the software’s capabilities in supporting the management and implementation of OBE practices. The feedback from this event will play a crucial role in BUBT’s decision-making process regarding the adoption of OBE software across all departments.

Leading the demonstration was an esteemed team from DIU, including Prof. Dr. Syed Akhter Hossain, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Information Technology (FSIT); Mr. Abdus Sattar, Assistant Professor and MSc Coordinator; Shahadat Hossain, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE); and Md. Sujan Mia, Officer at FSIT, DIU. They thoroughly presented the software’s features and benefits to BUBT’s management and key stakeholders.

The event was attended by a prominent delegation from BUBT, including Prof. Dr. Md. Ali Noor, Vice Chancellor (Additional Charge); Prof. Md. Abu Saleh, Advisor; Dr. Md. Ali Ahmed, Treasurer; Dr. Harun-Or-Rashid, Registrar; Prof. Santi Narayan Ghosh, Director of the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC); Mr. Zaved Mannan, Additional Director of IQAC-BUBT; along with the deans of all faculties, chairpersons of all departments, and heads of all Program Self-Assessment Committees (PSACs).
