The fourth meeting of the QS Ranking Committee of Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) was held on Sunday, October 19, 2025.

The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al Mansur, Professor and Chairman of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), and Convenor of the QS Ranking Central Committee.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mahboob Ali (Economics), Prof. Dr. Kamiz Uddin Ahmed (Alam) (English), Dr. Mohammad Raihanul Hasan (Marketing), Dr. Md. Aslam Uddin (Marketing), Dr. Muhammad Aminur Rahaman (CSE), Dr. Md. Zakir Hosain (Finance), Dr. Waziha Farha and Eshita Datta (Textile), Mafruha Hossain (Management), Mst. Amina Khatun, Dr. Umme Habiba Rahman, Mr. Tareq Imam Zahid, and Mrs. Mahmuda Jahan Papia (Economics), Md. Sabbir Ahmed, Mohammad Saeid Hassan Khan, and Kazal Kumar Das (English), Sudipto Chaki and Md. Masudul Islam (CSE), Ruhul Amin (EEE), Ms. Zeenat Zoarder Ripa (Deputy Registrar, Public Relations), Dr. Syed Ashraful Haque (Assistant PRO), and Mr. Zaved Mannan (Additional Director, IQAC-BUBT and Member-Secretary, QS Ranking Central Committee).

The committee reviewed the ongoing progress of data collection and documentation for QS ranking indicators and discussed strategies to improve BUBT’s academic reputation, research output, and international visibility. Action plans were outlined to ensure timely submission of required data and enhance institutional readiness for upcoming global ranking evaluations.
