
The seventh meeting of the QS Ranking Committee of Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) was held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at the university’s permanent campus in Mirpur.
The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al Mansur, Professor & Chairman, Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), and Convenor of the QS Ranking Committee.
The session brought together distinguished faculty members, deans, and administrative officials to review the university’s progress in global ranking initiatives and to discuss strategies for enhancing BUBT’s visibility in the QS World University Rankings and THE Impact Rankings.

The meeting emphasized the importance of data accuracy, international collaboration, faculty research output, and SDG-related initiatives for improving BUBT’s standing in global rankings. Participants discussed progress on ongoing tasks and set timelines for upcoming submissions and documentation.
The session concluded with an appreciation for the contributions of all committee members and reaffirmed BUBT’s commitment to academic excellence, research innovation, and global recognition through continuous quality enhancement.
