Dhaka, Bangladesh – October 31, 2024 – The IQAC-BUBT recently hosted a Research Project Proposal Presentation on October 31, 2024, in the Meeting Room of the Shahid Sujon Mahmud Building. This event spotlighted a notable research initiative aimed at the early detection of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) using artificial intelligence. The project, spearheaded by Nafis Shahriar Munir, a Lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), includes contributions from co-researchers Abdullah Bin Shams, a former Lecturer in EEE, BUBT and current Rogers Fellow and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Toronto (St. George) and Rahat Bin Preo, a Teaching Assistant in the same department. The presentation introduced an innovative AI-driven mobile application designed to enhance CKD detection.
